I was pleasantly surprised while casually watching the latest episode of This Does Not Compute, “Sony MiniDisc: The (Not) Forgotten Audio Format That (Never) Failed” when out of nowhere my very own Hawaii Afterburner album pops-up on the screen looking amazing within the show’s always exceptional production values.
If you haven’t had the chance yet, do swing by the This Does Not Compute YouTube channel and check out all of the amazing videos about gear, muisc, video games and more. I was already a subscriber and fan of the channel prior to my own MiniDisc showing up in an episode, so it was an honor to be featured.
The episdoe itself is one of the most definitive histories and perspectives about the MiniDisc format I have seen. Here it is embedded below. I definitely recommend checking it out! And big shoutouts to Colin for featuring the MiniDisc.
