Colby Colb is a legend in Philadelphia hiphop. I grew up listening to Colby on the radio on Power 99 FM. I would sit up late Friday and Saturday nights listening to shows like Radio Active and New Alternatives that Colby hosted live at clubs around town, and literally grew up listening to this cat.
Colby posted this YouTube thanking all his listeners because he didn’t get a chance to say goodbye on the air. But I also wanted to thank Colby myself for breaking so many records in Philly and making the radio what it was back in its heyday. Colby, we’ll miss you homeboy.
